The Project: Promote the launch of Pirate Fluxx

Launch Date: February 11, 2011

We have created a Pirate Fluxx Demo Kit with a pack of 25 SKULLDUGGERY promo cards to promote the launch of this awesome new version of Fluxx.

To participate in this project you need to do the following:

Sign Up as a Fan Club Member
Register as a Demo Team Member
Pledge your Participation
Post your Project Plan
Get the Demo Kit
Post any Public Events
Promote your Events
Write Event Reports

Sign Up as a Fan Club Member - if you don't have an account yet, Sign Up Here. Please use your real name and a recognizable picture so people can find you at your demo events - please follow the rest of the advice on the Getting Started page about setting up your profile. Please update your profile before you request membership in the Demo Team!
Register as a Demo Team Member - you need to do this in two places... 1) Request Membership in the private Demo Team forums, and 2) edit the PROFILE INFORMATION section on your MY PAGE and select Demo Team as one of your member types so you show up in the advance search. Pledge your Participation - by ordering this demo kit, you pledge that you will buy a retail copy of this game at some point in the future, preferably from your friendly local game store if you have one near you. If you are an employee of a retail store, then this affiliation grants you permission to buy this kit, without having to buy another copy from yourself!

Post your Project Plan - you must have a plan to play this demo copy with at least 24 different people in the next 3 months so you can give out all but your own copy of the Skullduggery promo card postcard. It can be friends at work or school, or an event at church or at your local game store - but you need to have a plan to play it with lots of different people and give away these promo cards. Your posted plan doesn't need to have a lot of detail, and it will likely change anyway, but by posting a preliminary plan on The Project Plan Thread you are declaring that your are participating in this particular Demo Team project.
Get the Demo Kit - you can only Order The Demo Kit through our online store - be sure your name here at the Fan Club matches the name on your order, and make sure you post your Project Plan before you order the kit. (Retailers, please call or email to place your order.)
Post any Public Events - if you plan events that are open to the public, you can Enter Your Events onto our event schedule and then invite local fans to attend!
Promote your Events - download the Game Event Flyer and the Pre-Order Signup Flyer if you have a physical location to post about the event. Promote a link to your event on facebook and twitter and encourage people to sign up to let you know they will be attending!
Write Event Reports - please Let Everyone Know how your promotional efforts are going! You can quickly and easily post Event Reports including pictures if you take any at your event!
