HotTopic Piecenik
Thanks to Pink Hijinks, I have extra pink pyramids, so I've begun my first "Icehouse" set. I'm calling this one "Hot Topic". It is constructed of black decorative sand, sealed with a glue gun.

The weight difference is easily noticeable. This makes it easier to place pieces with precision and a little less likely that a piece will move if you place another one in close proximity. I'm trying to think of any other games where filled pieces might be nice, probably Torpedo (but to a lesser extent) and Traction (I haven't played it, but a weighted might make it much easier).
For a second set, I'll probably either fill another pink stash with white sand or find a monochrome stash in a different color on ebay.

Awesome! I've wanted to do this since I first saw some online (Eeyore's maybe?), but am much too lazy. Those are definitely sweet. Post pics if you do other colors!
