ABOUT MY HISTORY WITH LOONEY LABS...
I've been a fan of Loony Labs since about 2000, when one of the young ladies in my Hackmaster game introduced us to Fluxx. I've demonstrated Fluxx and Monty Python Fluxx at local stores. At Gamestorm 12 (2010) I served on a panel with Andy, "How to Host a Game Night".
ABOUT ME...
I am a Retired USAF Electronics and Computer Technician on disability. Experienced game demonstrator formally since 1998 demonstrating board, card, and RolePlaying games for Kenzer&Co, AEG, Columbia Games, Wizards of the Coast, HERO Games and (still) Twilight Creations & Mongoose Publishing.

In 2011 while my wife and I were dining at a buffet she let me teach her "Zombie Fluxx" immediately falling in love with it. We played three games and probably would still be there if I hadn't said "enough already!". Now when we go out to eat I have to have at least one of my Fluxx decks with me. In 2012 my wife (Wilma) got the itch to start running games at stores and conventions, co-opting my nearly complete collection of FLUXX.

OK. First, click on 'My Page' to edit your profile.

From there, right under where it says, "WELCOME, AL BEDDOW" is box with the words "LATEST ACTIVITY." Click on that box and drag it to the bottom of your profile page (below the "PROFILE INFORMATION" area).

That should do the trick. Thanks!

Hello there - it's great to see you here online!  Thanks for joining our fan club!

Looks like your profile is almost all set up...  but we have one silly request.  Please drag your LATEST ACTIVITY box to the bottom of your profile page. This will give folks a chance to get to know you (by reading your profile) before diving in to see what you have been doing here at the fan club recently.

Thanks for signing up, we look forward to chatting with you in the forums!

Yeah, it was real hard convincing me to go to the newer edition of Hackmaster.  I had the older combat system down to an art with the combat wheel, and was able to make combat so visual and streamlined without sacrificing players valuable time.  I do enjoy the combat now, but finding people who are willing to learn such an involving system is very difficult.

I too wanted to find a just as robust, customizable, and easy to understand system and FUDGE really hit the nail on the head.

If rules systems that you find in RPG's, or rather the depth and strategy that the games actually provide, you should check out Looney Labs pyramids!  I find them to be utterly riveting.  I CAN find people who want to play with those and with over 300 games for them, I can cater to everyone's gaming pleasures.  Tonight I hope to have a fun filled night with IceDice, Mega-volcano, Launpad23 and Homeworlds!

I need to log in to check my HMA GM#... I haven't been on the forums in so long.  School has been keeping me away form throwing dice like I used too.

Whooot!  A fellow Hackmaster player we are a hard breed to come across!  HERO, FUDGE, and Hackmaster are my most favorite RPG systems.

Star Fluxx - Where no game has gone before

My sessions at Board Game Nation have gone well. Lots of interest people enjoyed playing and appreciated the promo cards. My wife, who generally doesn't game with me besides the once-every-five-year game of Scrabble, has taken to Fluxx like it's a drug.Every time we go out and might be stopping to eat she reminds me to bring one of my various copies of Fluxx, and if she forgets then pines away at the resturant with something like "Oh Darn, I forgot to have you bring Fluxx and I wanted to play.…See More

Pirate Fluxx... Arrrggg Me hearties!

Played Pirate Fluxx at a local store, Board Game Nation. Great store lots of fun. I had posted on their facebook schedule that I was running Pirate Fluxx tonight to celebrate "Talk Like a Pirate Day". We had six people (one was one of the store owners) playing (three games total) before we moved on to a different pirate game that someone else brought.  One person had a little trouble understanding things but we talked him through and he had fun. This Thursday: SPACE FLUXX!!See More
