Friday night (5\3) I scheduled to do Looney Pyramid demos at the Griffon open game night. Unfortunatly, I got a table in the room where a HeroClix tourney was running. The owner brought me over a couple people looking to play something new, so I gave them the Pyramid 101 spiel and then we played Ice Dice, Martian Coasters and WW5. This event was not as successful as I had hoped, but may have been due to the fact that people did not know what it was. Early on, I had a few people show up and play some Pyramid games, but then it dulled a bit. The second hour brought a group who wanted to play Cthulhu Fluxx (I said it was popular) which included a couple other Game Techs, so I joined in. I will make this one post even though it was 3 sessions. Note to self...next year, plan more time and and allow time for set up and take down. Between sessions I had people waiting for the last to end and me to set up the next.
The event was quite popular and mostly filled with people who had never played or had only just got their first 'Mids.
