"He guys! Just a little update. After a lot of playtesting and a whole lot of input from non-gamer friends and family, I've decided to go with a card-based modification system. Essentially, each turn you get to draw a card. That card modifies…"

"I can think of several complex pyramid games. Some are arguably too daunting for casual players, but there are also several well-written games that also have a lot going on in them. I suppose it depends how one interprets “complex” or…"

((Jump past the first line for the nitty gritty work-in-progress rules, and past the second for a tl;dr.))I've been whiling away at my local Starbucks all day, working on the mechanics for the game with my friend/test subject, recording ideas on napkins and scraps of paper. ABOUT MY HISTORY WITH LOONEY LABS...
I was started on the Looney Labs track in my freshman year of high school. My Latin teacher was a huge fan of Looney Labs, and she held an unofficial club every morning before school where we could go to play games. Most of the games were from Looney Labs. A year or so later, I bought myself some Ice House stashes(Looney Pyramids) and from there on it was history.
ABOUT ME...
I am a student of Geology. I do freelance computer repair work. I play lots of games.
LOONEY LABS GAMES I PLAY/PROMOTE:
Fluxx, Looney Pyramids, Aquarius
