We had a situation come up this weekend that I don't think I've seen before.Player A plays "Draw 2 and Use 'em".  He draws a Keeper and a Surprise.  He plays the Keeper first.  Player B plays "That's…Continue

I've been playing Looney Labs games since the early 2000s. I helped out at the Big Experiment from 2007 to 2011 (when the Big Experiments stopped) and I also helped demo games when the Looneys were in town as GOHs at a local SF con. I ran my first Giant Pyramid event in 2012.
I'm a gamer. I'm lucky enough to be a member of one of the largest game groups in the world (CABS). I've played hundreds of different games and dozens of different Looney Labs games.

Jeff Wolfe replied to theyear199X's discussion 'Anyone have giant pyramid templates / instructions these days?'
"I have four monochrome stashes of the giant pyramids Looney Labs once sold. They were already painted when I got them. I once made a small pyramid cut out of a cardboard box using one of the existing smalls as a template. Once folded into the shape…"

Jeff Wolfe replied to Draw5PlayAll's discussion 'Twin Win goal-swap questions'
"The Pyramid Arcade rulebook clarifies both of these points. 1) You are not required to reveal the old goal. You put it on the bottom of the stack of available goals. 2) You may use both actions to change goals."

Jeff Wolfe replied to Bruno Curfs's discussion 'The Winning Rule in Zendo and the Zen Nature of the Buddha Nature'
"As Russ said, these things don't come up in practice. Personally, I find this whole discussion confusing, too, and Zendo is one of my favorite games. That's why my own contribution to this discussion has been limited to what you can do…"

Jeff Wolfe replied to Bruno Curfs's discussion 'The Winning Rule in Zendo and the Zen Nature of the Buddha Nature'
"There are multiple ways to do exactly 2 weird or exactly 3 weird. If you combine one of each, you get exactly 5 weird."

Jeff Wolfe replied to David Artman's discussion 'All new Dice and Boards eventually for sale?'
"The square Zark City deck is not a standard deck. It has 5 suits and 65 cards. I feel your pain. I already have over 300 pyramids and boards and stuff, and I can play all the games with what I have cobbled together. But I think it's going to be…"

Jeff Wolfe replied to Andrew Looney's discussion 'Pyramid Arcade'
"The idea of an upgrade kit struck me as something they wouldn't do, but it does make some sense, considering what the pyramid system is supposed to be. It would make Zendo fans unhappy, though, to have to buy two things to get new Zendo. I…"

Jeff Wolfe replied to Bruno Curfs's discussion 'Zark City Question'

Jeff Wolfe replied to Renee_vs_Ryan's discussion 'Cthulhu Fluxx: Twist of Fate'
