Fan, Demo Team
My wife bought me Zendo some years ago, and I've picked up a lot more pyramids and accessories since. Our kids at 12 and 14 are now old enough to play some challenging games, so we play less Fluxx, Aquarius and Q-turn and more pyramid games now. Became a Demo Team member when Cthulhu Fluxx came out. My son and I are now card-carrying Starship Captains.
In my fifties, married 21 years, two kids who like games, been a gamer since my teens. Not enough time for games, no gamer friends nor game store nearby. Currently working on recruiting. Lovecraft fan, with friends who are also Lovecraft fans, friends who are also Fluxx fans, and a few friends who are both.
Fluxx, Looney Pyramids, Aquarius

Cthulhu Fluxx demo and a few other things

The first of a number of games that evening.  The game store owner is the one in the hat.

There is no game store where I live, but an old college friend has recently opened one near my hometown, where I visit often (Thoom! Games, Marquette, Michigan).  Before the release of Cthulhu Fluxx, I visited him in…

Introducing Frank (Owner of Thoom Games in Marquette, Michigan) to Volcano.

"How did he take the game?  I have had some poor experiences getting store owners to even take interest in anything outside of MTG and other heavy hitters at their stores. "

Mark Valenti replied to Niall Bole's discussion 'Chessboard bandana alternatives?'
"I found black and white checkerboard pattern bandanas at the Hobby Lobby for 99 cents.  They're 14 squares by 14 squares, so the squares are a bit smaller than ideal, but should still work.  I'm sure creative types would have no…"
