ABOUT MY HISTORY WITH LOONEY LABS...
My wife bought me Zendo some years ago, but I've never played it. We don't get to game much. Our kids at 8 and 10 are finally getting old enough to play some interesting games, so we've been playing Fluxx, Aquarius and Q-turn for a couple years now. Became a Demo Team member when Cthulhu Fluxx came out, and we dusted off the pyramids and have been having a lot of fun with them. My son and I recently became Starship Captains, but I still have never played Zendo.

UPDATE:

Finally got to play Zendo when a couple friends visited from out of town, and it was as much fun as I thought it would be. My wife and kids like it too.
ABOUT ME...
In my forties, married 18 years, two kids who like games, been a gamer since my teens. Not enough time for games, no gamer friends nor game store nearby. Lovecraft fan, with friends who are also Lovecraft fans, friends who are also Fluxx fans, and a few friends who are both.
LOONEY LABS GAMES I PLAY/PROMOTE:
Fluxx, Looney Pyramids, Aquarius

  • Don't worry, he's never unsupervised with them.

He also wants to join the Demo Team when he's older.

Pyramid demo

The picture of the Pyramid Demo Kit has got me eager to play (I have everything I need to play all those games, but I still want one of those kits), so on my weekly visit to my hometown, I managed to gather up three friends and over about two hours we played:  Tic Tac D'oh!, Pharaoh, Treehouse, Martian Coasters, Builders of R'lyeh, and Icetowers (which I had never played before).  I think Tic Tac D'oh! and Martian Coasters  were the favorites, but we didn't spend much time on Builders.  I…

Cthulhu Fluxx demo and a few other things

The first of a number of games that evening.  The game store owner is the one in the hat.

There is no game store where I live, but an old college friend has recently opened one near my hometown, where I visit often (Thoom! Games, Marquette, Michigan).  Before the release of Cthulhu Fluxx, I visited him in…

Introducing Frank (Owner of Thoom Games in Marquette, Michigan) to Volcano.

"How did he take the game?  I have had some poor experiences getting store owners to even take interest in anything outside of MTG and other heavy hitters at their stores.  "

"The only ones I know of are 3-High and Apophis. The latter has an interesting theme and actually makes for  a really fun cooperative experience."

Mark Valenti replied to Niall Bole's discussion 'Chessboard bandana alternatives?'
"I found black and white checkerboard pattern bandanas at the Hobby Lobby for 99 cents.  They're 14 squares by 14 squares, so the squares are a bit smaller than ideal, but should still work.  I'm sure creative types would have no…"
