Fan, Demo Team
I first bought Fluxx (version 2.0) after reading the description on the box at a local game store. I later bought the Martian Chess Set version of Icehouse piece at the same game store. I was taught Chrononauts by Andrew and Kristin at the Alliance Trade Show where I was working for Steve Jackson Games. I was a playtester for Early American Chrononauts. I have run demos of many Looney Labs games at conventions, including several GenCons. I've been a LooneyLabs fan for many years.
I am married (to another gamer) and have two children. I am a christian and am actively involved with my local church, especially drama ministry and youth ministry. I am a professional geek. I run the technical side of an ISP and web hosting company as well as doing computer and network consulting. I am a gamer. I've been playing role playing games for over 30 years, although I haven't had much time lately. I run game demos for Looney Labs Games and Steve Jackson Games. I am on the board of a science fiction fan club and help run an annual science fiction convention in Indianapolis. I am too busy.

Zendo at Who's Yer Con

I ran three scheduled 2-hour sessions of Zendo at Who's Yer Con last weekend in Indianapolis. Fellow Looney Labs game tech Bart Janssens joined my for several of these. We also played a couple of other unscheduled Zendo games.

Friday at 5:00 I had three other players, Bart and two newbies. Saturday at noon I had a group of three adults and two kids. They already owned some pyramids and were interested in learning more pyramid games. I think…

May Tabletop Game Day at Gamerz

On May 11 I went to Gamerz as scheduled to run games. I had someone stop at my table and ask about a few of the games, but didn't want to play. While talking to him about Chrononauts, Hunter, one of the players from my previous game day at Gamerz, came by and wanted to play so we played Chrononauts while I explained it to the new guy. The new guy, whose name I never got, was still interested in seeing things but not playing, so Lynette (my wife) and I showed him Treehouse. Then two new…

Table Top Game day at Gamerz in Greenwood, IN

My wife and I showed up at Gamerz game store a little before noon. I was scheduled to run Looney Labs games from noon-4:00 and 5:00-9:00 and she was running Steve Jackson games for the same period. There was a table set up for me with a sign listing what I would be running (Looney Pyramids, Fluxx, Chrononauts, Back to the Future). I set out a bunch of pyramids, including having a board set up for Caldera, and also my Fluxx, Chrononauts, BTTF, Seven Dragons, and Aquarius.

Whosyercon 2013

  1. I ran two 2-hour sessions of Zendo and one 1-hour session of general pyramid games at Whosyercon in Indianapolis on the weekend of March 15. All went well. Game tech Bart Janssens joined me for all of the games. We taught several new players Zendo. The general pyramid session ended up mainly Zendo but we also played some Ice Towers. Between scheduled games I also taught someone Martian Chess and Pharaoh.
