Fan, Demo Team
I've been playing Fluxx for years and have given away more copies than I care to count. I currently have Fluxx 1.0, 3.x, Family, Christian, Monty Python, Eco, Martian, Zombie, and plenty of bonus cards. In addition we have Chrononauts, Back to the Future, and Traitor in the game library.
In addition to regular job I am the Scoutmaster for a Boy Scout troop of about 70 boys and Fluxx is a regular on long trips and campouts. There is nothing more fun than sitting in a room with 300 people and speaking in a ridiculous accent. It draws a crowd. I carry a deck in my pack in a waterproof container. Some of the Scouts have even been using Fluxx blanks to create a Scout pack similar to Family Fluxx.

Welcome to the Fan Club! We are excited to have you join our Demo Team, but before we can approve your membership to the private forum I need to ask you to update a few things here on your profile page...

1) Thanks for adding a photo to your profile - but I would really appreciated it if you could switch to a recognizable picture of yourself. I hope to meet you some day in person to play games together, and it's great when everyone can already recognize each other from their profile pictures!

2) Please drag your LATEST ACTIVITY box to the bottom of your profile page. This will give folks a chance to get to know you (by reading your profile) before diving in to see what you have been doing here at the fan club recently.

Take a look at the Getting Started page to get some ideas about ways to join in the fun.

Mike Gregorio's Event Reports

Scouting and Fluxx

While I won't be able to participate in the 7 Dragons launch, I did want to follow up to say that the events  went great. I've already reported on the first night of playing.

At one point in the Feb event, there were 5 playing and about 10 watching with people rotating in and out for over 2 hours.  There were cheers as the captain's hat was passed around. I gave out all my cards in Feb but held back 5 for the April event.

In March, my sons took over running the games and had…

Troop Game Night

Just got back from a Troop meeting. After the formal business was complete we broke out Pirate Fluxx (which my boys and I have been practicing with since it arrived yesterday). Those who have played Fluxx before huddled around those who were close enough to get in the first game. As the group played and laughed more gathered. With each round the losers were replaced and as new cards were discovered the boys began to plot how they would use it - especially the Surprise cards.  Once the…
