Hello everyone,I have a variant on Martian Coasters, not sure how many others are out there, called Gravity Plane. It's intended for a larger group of players but should be suitable for 2-8 players. …Continue

Pieceniking Forum?

I remember that there used to be a lot of pieceniking activity.  I've seen some posts of a similar nature in some of the forums (homemade, oversized dice and martian coasters; homemade chessboard…Continue

My family and I are going to go camping with some friends soon and I'll be taking along my IceDice set.  I plan on teaching IceDice and Launchpad 23.  I'll probably take along a set of Aquarius cards…Continue

ABOUT MY HISTORY WITH LOONEY LABS...
I don't remember when I got my first Looney Lab game, it may have been Q-turn, but I'm not certain. I had been buying the smaller, less expensive games from our FLGS. I finally noticed Fluxx a while later and I started looking into Looney Labs after that. I found their website and signed up to be a fan a short while later. Been a fan since, picking up more and more of their games since. I'm currently a little behind because of being located overseas with no FLGS around.
ABOUT ME...
Currently teaching English to young children in Taiwan. I'm pushing IceDice at the moment and hoping to find a copy of the Wizard of Oz in Chinese to help promote Oz Fluxx.
LOONEY LABS GAMES I PLAY/PROMOTE:
Fluxx, Looney Pyramids, Time Travel Games, Aquarius

Hi Scott!

Cool there's another Looney fan in Taiwan. You're right: it is a bit far for a quick game! You never know, though, there might be opportunities to get together! I know that I'd enjoy getting together to play sometime... I bought the pyramids recently, but I've never played since I have no one to play with, LOL!

Best, Tom

Rolling, Rolling, Rolling

I just got my first IceDice set this past Friday, although I've been demoing IceDice to my students this past week.  My wife made the comment that I "never play" all these games that I get and that I had better play the ones I just got.  Lucky for me, we took our sons to their roller blading lesson today.

IceDice 101

Today was the first chance I've really had to play IceDice and I took advantage of my students to do so.:)  I just got a set of promo IceDice yesterday and got them coated right away as I already had some clear nail polish from a previous craft.

Thursdays is our Grammar and Math day and the children tend to get done early, some of them will get done in the first (of three) period.  Today, I waited until all of the children had finished their work and called them to the front of the…

A Little Aquarius

I've been using Aquarius in my classroom for a while now and all of the children seem to like it.  Perhaps because they are not native English speakers, they enjoy playing Aquarius very much.

On Tuesday, I finally found the time to introduce the game to my youngest class. This class is all pre-school age children, they will be starting 1st grad this comming fall.  I had brought the box to my classroom earlier and the children had been asking about it.  As I pulled out the box and sat…
