PAX East

PAX was amazing. This was my first time attending, and fortunately, my day job paid for it. That meant I had to be in the company booth all day Friday and Sunday, but my Saturday was completely free.

 

Saturday I showed up with my lab coat and flowers, and started searching out subjects. Unfortunately, my IceDice kit hadn't arrived, but I was able to teach it to a few people anyway, using a couple make shift dice. Everyone that played it enjoyed it, and was looking forward to…

Finally played Quicksand

I finally got around to playing Quicksand today, and I love it. It's just the right mix of simple rules and deep strategy. I really want to play more. It when right onto my Starship Captain list.

I've also recently had a chance to play a couple games of Pharaoh, and I really enjoy that too. I'd like to play some with 4 and 2, but 3 works very well.
