Fan, Demo Team
I've been a fan of Looney Labs since I got my hands on the ICE version of Fluxx over 10 years ago. I was a part of the previous demo team and still enjoy playing all of their games, eagerly teaching people who want to learn!
I'm a dreamer, gamer, and hopeful game designer. I love playing most types of board and card games and showing others how to play multitudes of games as well!

Welcome to the Fan Club! We are excited to have you join our Demo Team, but before we can approve your membership to the private forum I need to ask you to update a few things here on your profile page...

1) Please upload a recognizable picture so people can find you at your demo events and check out the rest of the advice on the Getting Started page about setting up your profile.

2) In particular, please drag your LATEST ACTIVITY box to the bottom of your profile page. This will give folks a chance to get to know you (by reading your profile) before diving in to see what you have been doing here at the fan club recently.

Thanks for signing up, I look forward to getting to know you!

Games Day at Other Realms (7 Dragons Demo) - 08/20/11

This event happens quarterly, and the next one is coming up in November.

Not nearly as big as Kawaii Kon, Games Day tends to draw people that play Warhammer Fantasy and 40k. I always manage to get a few tables going in order to run demos, and some friends to come down to fill in slots when there are only a few people to game.

Throughout the day, only about a dozen people stopped by, and mainly for Fluxx and it's variants. I did do a couple of 7 Dragons demos,…

Pirate Fluxx report for Kawaii Kon (Honolulu, HI) - 04/29/11 to 05/01/11

Here in Hawai'i, we have no gaming conventions... just a few Games Days put on by an FLGS and one huge (relatively) Anime con.

Kawaii Kon sees attendance of 5000+ and boasts it's own tabletop game room, of which I'm the demo guy for. The store that I work with (Other Realms) carries most variations of Fluxx (sans Stoner), and Pirate Fluxx was no exception. I had 2 tables during the con specifically set up for Fluxx and Looney Labs demos, and the most popular games were Zombie…

Kawaii Kon 04/30/11, NANOFICTIONARY GAME

I almost forgot to post this! In fact, it's been so long that the deets are getting sketchy.

I had previously asked for a bunch of Nanoblanks for a contest that my friend had inquired about. Basically,  a good friend runs the Kon and wanted to do a late-night match up between two local geek podcasts. He wanted to play a game between them on-stage, like a panel, and thought Nanofictionary would fit the bill.

Using the blanks, he took them to the Artist's Alley…
