Andy and Kristin hosted the first ever Looney Lounge, an all-day playtest/demo event for Looney Labs games, in College Park, MD. The event went swimmingly and everyone from Looney Labs was thrilled to interact with fans in the area. The Looney Lounge is a brainchild of Kristin's that will be held quarterly at Davis Hall, in College Park, MD. We will also be bringing the Lounge to conferences and other cities whenever we can.
Andy brought his stash of prototypes, which included Fluxx: The Board Game, Monster Fluxx and Math Fluxx (a HUGE hit!). Naturally, we also brought the entire line of games already in production. Game winners received prizes varying from promo cards to posters. The Lounge began at 3 and ran until 9. We had eight tables set up with about 40 fans playing throughout the day.
The atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable. We're all looking forward to the next one in January, 2013.
Here you can see the cover of one of Andy's prototypes, Petri Dish, and lots of engaged fans playing all sorts of games, both published and unpublished.
Another view of the lovely group of fans playing Looney Labs games! Walking in the middle is Bianca, our new Marketing and Events Manager.
On the left, a rousing game of Are You The Werewolf? was being played. On the right, more fans playtested Fluxx: The Board Game.

Comment by Ryan Hackel on October 29, 2012 at 11:03am For the record, I was able to play:
Pink Hijinks
SandShips
Math Fluxx
Just Desserts
Powerhouse
Petal Battle
Petri Dish
And I got two of my own pyramid games on the table: Dectana and the Untitled Economic Stacking Game. Both went over very well.
