PAX was a great show for us! We had a small booth upstairs on the 6th floor, where we set up a couple of demo tables and a big new Cthulhu Fluxx banner and we spent all weekend teaching and playing our games with new fans and old friends.
We weren't doing any sales ourselves, there were 5 retailers selling our games in vendor booths at various places around PAX. This allowed us to focus just on promoting the games, and telling fans where they could go to buy them.
To promote the launch of Cthulhu Fluxx, we made a new promo card to give away at PAX (and at GenCon & DragonCon) called the Horrifying Sculpture, and we had a great time offering them around. Kristin handed them out all over the convention wherever she found Fluxx fans waiting patiently in long lines, and she gave out posters and flowers to anyone she found with a Fluxx deck in their bag. She did a great job seeking out enthusiastic Fluxx fans and directing them up to the booth to meet the inventor of Fluxx. Several thousands of these promo cards were also handed out in our booth by our very dedicated Game Techs, Tim Peiffer and his fiance Kathy. Thank you guys for all your help!
Andy spent most of each day demoing our games in the booth along with our Sales Manager Jennifer Powers and Keith Baker dropped by to demo Cthulhu Fluxx too!
Big thanks to everyone who played games with us at PAX this year!
